LEARNERS DEMOGRAPHIC & LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Adult learners (18 years old and above) who are interested in learning more about the golden era of Korean history and culture (specifically of Shilla and Joseon periods). We will also be exploring the Gyeongju and Andong provinces.
The programme will be conducted in English, no Korean proficiency required.

Please check flights / bus transfers depending on your departure locations.
Bus and taxi services are available from Gimhae Airport (Busan) to Gyeongju city.
Accommodation fees
Accommodation fees can range from $30 / night for hostels to >$100 / night for hotels.
Recommended location: Hwanglidan Gil (경주 황리단길)

Course Deliverables & Objectives
Knowledgeable facilitation: Edutour classroom hours will be conducted with our facilitators in English. Facilitators with native understanding of the historical significance of the topics and venues covered in the tour programme. Excursions that may be conducted by expert guides in Korean will be accompanied by a translator.
Interactive classroom hours: Interactive classroom sessions, non-lecture based, includes project work and mini presentations
Experiencing “live” history: Opportunity to fully experience places of cultural and historical importance and considering the influence of historical events on modern Korean language and culture
Excursions by locals and specialized facilitators: Sharing of in-depth knowledge on historical and culturally significant places and activities
